HÅN and Killowen collaborate on “BICYCLE”

HÅN began developing her distinctive songwriting style in a small Italian town near the Garda lake:a collection of dreamy, experimental productions that are always accompanied by clever, pop-driven melodies.

She became a “one to watch” immediately after releasing her debut EP, The Children.Due to her inherent ability to combine an unconventional sound with timeless pop moments, her sophomore EP Gradients established her as one of the most promising stars of the underground-pop constellation.

With millions of streams under her belt and a London home, HÅN  is prepared for the most significant phase of her early career:the release of her much-anticipated album, which has not yet been named.

The second single from it is titled “Bicycle,” and it was written by KiLLOWEN, a rising West London songwriter and producer. In the song, HÅN combines her signature sound with a Z Gen aesthetic of hazy textures, R&B-tinged beats, and lo-fi vibes.

“This was the first song I wrote when I moved to London last year,” she says about the song.In October, I met Owen, who appears on the song, and we immediately clicked.I used to spend a lot of time distracting myself by going to art galleries because I was having trouble just functioning and adjusting to the new city at the time.I noticed that I sometimes dealt with my emotions in a very intense way, so I started learning about my mental health.I felt estranged as a result, but I was also amazed at those around me who were able to deal with things in a healthy and easy way.

She goes on to say, “I didn’t understand why the things that bothered me were causing other people to be unmoved.”Oh, so that’s how it is supposed to be,” Bicycle says.I hope to learn from you’ The song’s conclusion is both an outburst and a relief from this state of mind. A heavy bass kicks in and I scream in my own quiet way about memories that keep me safe and protect me from that state of mind.”
